KIC InnoEnergy, the innovation engine for Europe’s energy industry, has launched the largest competition of its kind for inventors, start-ups and SMEs in Central and Eastern Europe, called KICkoff.
Who can apply
EVERYONE with an innovative idea in the sustainable energy field. The KICkoff Competition is dedicated to:

inventors that would like to start their own business
-
small entities that already have some innovative product/service/technology and are ready to hit the market
-
small SMEs/startups that want to increase sales
-
ventures with no substantial revenue
Successful applicants will be invited to one of four regional finals. A Grand Final will then be held in Kraków in mid-November where each of the regional winners will be asked to pitch their idea to a panel of industry experts.
Prizes
The winner will get €10,000 cash and be invited to take part in the KIC InnoEnergy Highway, a programme that transforms business ideas into commercial reality. The two runners up will receive €5,000 and €3,000.
