Campaign & Communications Internship
(Fixed term 6 mths / full time)
This is an exciting role for somebody hoping to work in the world of campaigning and to enhance their CV by working in the oceans team at one of the UK’s most established and well known environmental organisations on some incredibly exciting, high profile campaigns like tuna and plastics in the ocean.
This role would be perfect for someone who has some experience of running a campaign (maybe at university or in another internship) or a budding writer who is interested in how we communicate campaigns to a wide range of audiences.
The successful applicant will be committed to winning campaigns and learning new skills on the job. They will also be organised and have excellent written communication.
Campaigning can get pretty hectic, so a willingness to quickly change priorities is necessary as is the ability to work unsupervised.
You need to have attention to detail, enjoy being on the pulse and reacting quickly to new developments, be enthusiastic and a problem-solver.
It is our aim to provide a valuable learning experience for our interns. The appointed intern will receive training from an experienced team along with an opportunity to receive and provide feedback both during and after the internship.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate their support for, and belief in, the aims of Greenpeace and be able to commit to the full period of the internship.
