The EU Aid Volunteers is an initiative of the European Union’s European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations department (DG ECHO).

DG ECHO aims to save and preserve life, prevent and alleviate human suffering and safeguard the integrity and dignity of populations affected by natural disasters and man-made crises.

The EU Aid Volunteers initiative will offer citizens over 18 000 opportunities to contribute to humanitarian action. The initiative is open to a variety of profiles, from newcomers to experienced humanitarian experts.
