The World Future Council is looking for an
Intern – Sustainable Ecosystems
Period: January to July 2014
Location: Hamburg, Germany
Role
The successful applicant will become intern of the Sustainable Ecosystems Programme.
Within this programme the internship will focus on two working areas: (1) Food Security & Sustainable Agriculture and (2) Oceans & Coasts.
In the Food Security Programme the intern will support the spreading of the 2009 Future Policy Award winning policies by contributing to the organisation of a workshop on urban food security in Africa, a study tour to Brazil and the publication of a complementing handbook.
In the Oceans Programme the intern will support the spreading of the 2012 Future Policy Award winning policies by contributing to the preparation and organisation of a ‘Regional Forum on Oceans, Coasts and People’, a platform to exchange experiences and ‘best practices’ in coastal and marine conservation, for the Southeast Asian and Pacific Region.
