Business Analyst / Finance Officer

Duties:

The EIB seeks to appoint a business analyst to assist in carrying out EIB operations in Jordan. The individual will have the opportunity to make a varied, interesting and substantial contribution to the assessment and development of the EIB activity in the Country

Specifically she/he is expected to carry out the following duties:

• Contribute to develop EIB operations in the Country;
• Analyse financial proposals and interface with project promoters in detailed examination of proposals;
• Analysing financial information,
• Monitoring project implementation as necessary;
• Performing research;
• Where required, build relations with key external parties (e.g. investors, financial institutions, government representatives, local authorities, other institutions, etc);
• Represent the EIB at events, for example regular sector meetings or meetings with donors.
