Description: FAO’s mandate is to support members in their efforts to ensure that people have regular access to enough high-quality food by supporting policies and political commitments that promote food security and good nutrition.
Eligibility/Requirements: No more than 30 years old. Be a recent graduate or student in a recognised university or graduate school and have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies in a field relevant to the work of FAO, or be participant in a governmental or academic programme sponsoring assignments of recent graduates or students. Working knowledge of English, French or Spanish (other official UN languages are a plus). Not bear any of the following relationships to staff members of the Organization: son, daughter, brother, or sister.
Conditions: Interns receive a monthly stipend from FAO up to the amount of US$700. In some cases, the terms of sponsored internships may vary depending upon the agreement between FAO and the institution sponsoring the intern.
