Main function: The Global Campaign Officer implements global campaign plans, tactics and actions to support TI’s global campaigns. S/he works closely with TI-S departments and chapters to coordinate development, workflow and administrative management of global campaigns to ensure that agreed goals, best practice, donor obligations and TI strategy are met. The Global Campaign Officer optimises global training and coaching of TI Chapters on campaign skills and tactics, and contributes to creating external campaign content to convey TI’s campaign goals and position.
Responsibilities:
- Implement tactics and actions for global campaigns and advocacy, and contribute to the development of overall outreach strategies and plans to influence international campaign targets, using communications, campaigns and public engagement tactics
- Coordinate TI Chapters’ participation in global campaigns activities and actions, and contribute to the development of national campaign and advocacy strategy through analysing required change to achieve campaign asks at national level
- Coordinate internal communications and knowledge sharing between TI-S regional teams and chapter staff through coordination of workshops, working groups, regular updates, newsletters/bulletins, etc., using web meetings, email lists, social media and other knowledge management
- Plan training and coaching of TI Chapters engaged in a campaign, assessing needs for campaign strategy and tactics development, with a focus on supporters mobilization
- Contribute to creating external campaign materials (e.g. blog posts, press releases, newsletters, web content), and disseminate internal and external campaign materials to Chapters engaged in a global campaign
- Assess and initiate opportunities for advocacy, lobbying and campaign actions regionally and internationally, through stakeholder mapping and issue scanning
- Organise monitoring of campaign budget and project management activities, including creating and compiling financial reports as well as Monitoring and Evaluation and Learning, in support of Campaign Manager
Knowledge, experience and skills:
- Undergraduate degree in social sciences, communications, journalism, and/or another relevant field
- 3+ years practical and relevant experience in policy or social change campaigns, preferably global in nature and reach
