The call for participation has been opened for the the summer school Regional Euro Atlantic Camp 2015 – ”REACT 2015”.
By the implementation of the summer school ALPHA Centre intends to give it’s contribution to the education of the youth about the concept, advantages and importance of the accession of regional states to NATO. REACT 2015 gathers the young participants who will support the following objectives: promoting polices which encourage interests, motivations and desire of citizens to support the politics of regional safety and cooperation by opening expert and broad public debate in order to perceive how these processes can be strengthen in the light of possible political and economic as well as potential security benefits of joining region to the NATO in the future.
Eligibility
The REACT 2015 is open to graduate (last year graduate) and postgraduate students (social / political studies, humanities or economics), scholars, researchers & experts working in think tanks and academic institutions, practitioners, employees of security sector institutions and civil servants as well as for the government and civil sector representatives dealing with euro-atlantic integrations matters in the target countries, young members of political parties. The upper age limit for participants is 35 years. REACT 2015 is open for all interested candidates including those who had already participated in previous camps. Applicants are expected to be proficient in the use of English.
Costs
Tuition fee is 50 Euro and it includes:
- Cocktail at opening ceremony;
- Tuition (all lectures, workshops, discussions as mentioned in the program);
- Working materials (bag, notebook, pen, agenda, flag);
- Sport, culture and social events;
- Reading materials (electronic versions of all lecturers will be at your disposal);
- Housing and 3 meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) starting from the dinner on Friday 28 August to the breakfast on Wednesday 2 September;
- Excursion including all tickets and visitors fee;
- T-shirt REACT 2015;
- Certificate.
Travel costs for the successful candidates from Western Balkan countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia) will be reimbursed in 50%. Successful candidates from other countries will cover travel costs by their own.
