Nudge (New Union for Development of a Green Economy) connects people and organizations to realize bottom-up initiatives that bring positive and durable change to our society. They believe that knowledge and expertise are worth more when shared, and they facilitate this through their platform and broad network. By enabling bottom-up initiatives they aim to provide opportunities to take action that are accessible to everyone. All their activities are based on ecological, economical and social impact and can be both big and small.
Their prestigious development programme and competition for the leaders of the future will be held on 20, 21 and 22 November 2015 in the vicinity of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. World-class speakers, challenging tasks and intensive guidance are the main ingredients of these three unique days during which the build-up of leadership in sustainability is the focus. Nudge and The Leadership Group have developed this three-day ‘pressure cooker’ as an opportunity for young future leaders to equip themselves with the leadership style necessary, the network and the publicity to realise their goals. Participants will gain insight into their own talents by means of a development assessment, role-plays and case studies. During the Challenge, the participants will be transformed into a network of future leaders. They will be challenged to share their vision and work, to excel in debate and dialogue, to inspire with speeches and to show team spirit. On occasion, they will be allowed to lean back and listen to world-class speakers, after which they will sink their teeth into a Global Challenge. They will compete for the award of: Best Global Young Leader in Sustainability 2015.
