Activist Recruitment Internship

(Fixed term 6 mths / full time)

Greenpeace UK is currently looking for an intern to assist with the way in which they communicate and recruit from their network of activists.

They need a positive people person with an interest in community building and enthusiasm for nurturing volunteers who is comfortable working in a high paced and practical environment.

You’ll be an activist at heart – committed to taking action to protect the environment, enthusiastic to learn, happy to ask questions, and ready to seize initiative. You’ll appreciate that managing people means being able to respond to their different needs and you’ll be interested in working with people from different backgrounds.

This role will demand strong organisational skills. You’ll have a level of attention to detail to be proud of, and feel comfortable working in and out of the office. You know your way around a computer, are able to articulate yourself via email, and can put up with the boredom of looking at database.

It is their aim to provide a valuable learning experience for our interns. The appointed intern will receive relevant training as required, along with an opportunity to receive and provide feedback both during and after the placement.
