Responsibilities

Working under the supervision of the Associate Audio-Visual Producer and within the CTU team the Audio Visual Content Producer will be mostly responsible for technical courtroom operations; including but not limited to the live Television production, broadcast and recordings of STL courtroom sessions. The Audio-Visual Producer will be in control of and responsible for all Audio-Visual and computer operations, directing and switch multiple cameras and computer inputs while producing a fair and balanced view of the courtroom proceedings. STL proceedings will be broadcast to courtroom participants, viewing public and press; the recordings are then digitally archived for preservation (STL legacy). Other responsibilities will include monitoring digital Archived material housed within a SAN infrastructure to ensure quality control. Also will be working to resolve technical issues related to CTU though IT Help Desk.
In addition:
•Essential to up hold courtroom operational guidelines and procedures. 
•Will work closely with Court Officer during court sessions to alert various IT and AV technicians of any court related issues. Will also be tasked with safeguarding confidential material during broadcasting of sessions. 
•Responsible for operating witness protection through face and or Voice distortion equipment, Video-Teleconferencing equipment and various multi-media computer inputs and multi standard/format Audio and/or Video play-back and recording equipment.

Depending on professional background, experience and family situation, a competitive compensation and benefits package will be offered. The successful applicant will be offered a fixed-term appointment of one year limited to the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL). Any subsequent extension(s) are subject to terms of the Tribunal’s mandate and/or the availability of the funds. The Special Tribunal for Lebanon is an international inter-governmental organization with its own independent legal identity and not a UN organization. However, STL follows the UN common system for benefits and entitlements to its staff members. UN staff members may also serve on loan from their parent department/office, if selected.
