Bookkeeper/Accountant at IPPF EN – International Planned Parenthood Federation – European Network

IPPF EN includes 36 membership-based associations throughout Europe and Central Asia, as well as the Regional Office in Brussels, Belgium.
The IPPF European Network regional office is seeking to recruit a Bookkeeper/Accountant.
This is a Full-time position, permanent contract.
You will ensure correct and timely financial administration for IPPF EN Regional Office. You will also participate in the administration of the financial support of Member Associations (MAs) mainly based in Central Asia.
Your responsibilities will include a full range of tasks such as the entire accounting of the Regional Office, preparing the financial information for Belgian statutory purposes, participating in the preparation of the reporting requirements for the Headquarters, undertaking the monthly and annual closure of the accounts, participating in the development of the financial systems as requested by the Headquarters.
On top of this you will also provide technical assistance to Member Associations in the development of their budgets and financial reports.
Profile:
We are looking for a team player with at least 2 years’ experience. Accounting experience in the association sector is an asset. You should have excellent organisational and computer skills and be fluent in English (written and oral). Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
You should have the right to work in Belgium.
