Call for EVS sending partners: Erasmus+ / KA1 in Bucharest, RO
The Group of the European Youth for Change – GEYC is looking for sending partners from European/Programme countries for “New Media Entrepreneurs” project which will take place in Bucharest, Romania. The application will be submitted under Erasmus+ program, KA1 to the Romanian National Agency for the 1st of October deadline.
The project
“New Media Entrepreneurs” is a 9-12 months European Volunteering Service (EVS)
Amount of work: 30-38 hours per week.
Estimated timeframe: July 2015 – March 2016 or June 2016 (please inform us when you send the mandate what would be your timing preference);
Number of volunteers: 4 (2 from 2 different countries)
Prefered countries: Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Iceland, Norway, Liechenstein

Objectives:
– to promote entrepreneurship as a way of self development with a special focus on digital entrepreneurship;
– to enhance the European dimension of the youth work performed in the local community;
The volunteers will be involved in the following activities (30-38 hours per week):
- developing digital skills of young people involved in a formal setting (e.g. high school);
- organizing events aimed to develop the digital skills of young people in a non formal setting;
- raising awareness to the importance of new media linked to Digital Agenda for Europe through online and offline means;
- assuring new media coverage for GEYC events (photo, video, journalism etc.);
- developing GEYC social media channels and assuring a permanent and relevant content for young people information;
- managing “New Media Ambassadors” program of GEYC Resources Center;
- keeping an online diary on a monthly basis on GEYC’s website describing the EVS experience;
- raising awareness about the importance of entrepreneurship for young people, including for example, the creation of interviews with entrepreneurs (text and/or video);
- organizing events aimed to develop the entrepreneurial skills of young people in a formal or non formal setting;
- raising awareness about the European cultural diversity by organising for example different meetings to present various dimensions of their own country;
- organising language courses for their native language and/or English aimed to promote multilingualism and to develop young people compentencies of communication in a foreign language;
- getting integrated in the local community (Romanian language courses, meeting young people, understanding the Romanian culture and civilisation features)
