Bruegel are looking for an intern to join their research team and work in close collaboration with one of their Senior Fellows. The internship is expected to start on on 1 November 2016. There is the possibility of converting the internship into a position as a research assistant.

General requirements
Besides a Master’s degree, or equivalent, in Economics or Finance, candidates must possess experience in empirical work and have an interest in applied, policy-orientated research in Bruegel’s areas of specialization. Technical strengths in quantitative economic methods and econometric software, as well as a good grasp of economic concepts are important. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Versatility, international experience, command of further languages and the ability to work as a team-player are desired.

- 6 months internship
- Full-time position (38 hours/week)
- Monthly gross salary EUR 1385 for a full-time position
- Reimbursement of public transportation expenses (bus-tram-metro-train)
- Two days per month paid vacation is allowed. Vacation days can be accumulated for later use.
