With this call, CEPS would like to select 33 young European scholars and professionals to participate in the Ideas Lab 2015, which will be held in Brussels on 26-27 February 2015.
The Ideas Lab is CEPS’ annual flagship event which brings together Europe’s leading thinkers and policy-makers over two half days. The overarching theme for this year is: More or Less Europe? The theme will be discussed across 11 thematic labs, 33 sessions and 5 prime talks.
Requirements to participate:
o Aged max. 30 at the date of the Ideas Lab 2015 (26-27 February 2015)
o Having written a master thesis, report or PhD paper on one of the topics of the 33 sessions of the Ideas Lab

o Deadline for submission > 05/01/2015
o Notice of the selection > 15/01/2015
Reimbursement of expenses:
o Travel (up to 400 euros per participant) and 1 night accommodation will be covered by the organisers.

The selection of the candidates will be based on the quality of the paper/thesis/publication/report attached to the call, and on the relevance of such work to the theme of the session selected in the application. Once selected, the 33 participants will be invited to attend and contribute actively to that session, as well as to the rest of the Ideas Lab. This means they will have the possibility to sit and discuss in small discussion groups with leading European thinkers.
