Experienced Communications Assistant (m/f)

to support the Faculty’s external affairs team with internal and external communication concerning its research and teaching activities and results.
Your Role
- Contribute to further develop and implement the Faculty’s communication strategy within the framework of the overall UL communication strategy
- Be passionate about good communications and contribute to engage all staff members and students, e.g.:
- Provide communication advice and support to the faculty members especially with all external stakeholders and partners
- Identify relevant topics for dissemination, in close collaboration with the researchers, research facilitators and other staff.
- Write narratives about the Faculty research findings, identify target audiences and appropriate communications tools to achieve greatest impact.
- Write, copy-edit and post clear, compelling and relevant content – press releases, website, social media and other publications (e.g. the Faculty’s annual report)
- Contribute to the internal staff communication
- Support the Dean’s office with communication to students.
- Liaise with the UL’s central communication department in order to coordinate external communication and press releases.
- Support corporate communication material with regard to teaching programmes (Open Days, outreach to schools, future students, alumni…)
- Point of contact for international and European collaboration partners (research projects and teaching programmes)
