Communications and Public Information Assistant at ILO Office for the EU

The ILO Office for the European Union and the Benelux countries (ILO-Brussels) is looking for a Communications Assistant to join its team and to develop and implement a press and communications strategy for the office.

The position is located in the ILO Office in Brussels.

ILO-Brussels represents the International Labour Organization to the Benelux countries (Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg) and to the institutions of the European Union, in particular the European Commission and the European Parliament. The office keeps close relationships and dialogue with other EU bodies and agencies, such as the European Economic and Social Committee, the European social partners and with a number of important actors in civil society. It also participates in the work of the United Nations towards the EU.

The position is responsible for the overall communications activities of ILO-Brussels and contributes to the delivery of the ILO global communications strategy.

This position reports to the Director of ILO-Brussels and works closely with the ILO Regional Communications Officer for Europe and the ILO Department of Communications and Public Information (DCOMM).

Conditions of employment: The salary range of this grade is the following: 57.157 € p.a. (minimum) to 78.295 € (maximum).
