Amnesty International International Secretariat (AIIS) gathers and communicates accurate and action-oriented human rights information globally.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Fundraising and Engagement the Director of Global Philanthropy will be responsible for devising and ensuring the successful implementation of global major donor fundraising strategies for Amnesty International and achieving the agreed fundraising target from global major donors for the International Secretariat (IS).
The incumbent will provide strategic leadership and support to the Amnesty International (AI) movement to also devise and implement financial growth strategies aimed at the movement reaching the growth targets of the International Secretariat.
Eligibility/Requirements
Experience of developing and implementing long-term major donor fundraising strategy and extensive experience of identifying, cultivating and stewarding key individual donors, preferably in an international context with a demonstrable record of success against targets.. Experienced leader, having managed staff, volunteers and other resources.
