EU PfP Intranet Moderator – junior short term expert

The Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce (CCBI) is looking for an Intranet Moderator

In the framework of a service contract with the European Commission (EC), CCBI has developed an Intranet platform with the aim of facilitating the networking among peace organisations, which have been awarded a grant under the EU Partnership for Peace Programme. CCBI is now looking for a Moderator, in charge of the promotion and animation of the platform, which shall become a reference communication and networking tool for the target group.

More specifically, the moderator shall promote the existence of the platform among the target group (basically through direct emails and phone calls), with the objective of having the whole target group registered on the platform with user name and password; he/she shall focus on the “Calendar” section, making sure that user-organisations share their events through this tool, on the “Documents” section, making sure that key publications and event-related documents are shared, and on the “Forum” section, stimulating discussion on the platform.

LOCATION: On-line (the expert shall operate from his office, with own equipment – namely laptop, internet connection, headset)
TARGET COUNTRY: Israel and Palestine
APPROXIMATE PERIOD: February – June 2014
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION: 17/02/2014
FEES AND EXPECTED WORKING DAYS: The daily fee payable to the expert is 150 € (including all taxes, insurance, and backstopping costs); 26 working days are estimated for the task.
