The European Union National Institutes (EUNIC) offers Traineeships in Brussels, Belgium
The team of EUNIC Global presents two new available positions:
1. Project Management traineeship
2. Cultural Policy Research traineeship
Project Management traineeship
Main responsibilities of the Organisational Management Trainee:
- Assist the Project Manager and Project Board in setting up project-related meetings
- Assist the project team with organising project-related local and ‘off-shore’ events and trainings (i.e. ensuring venue booking, managing organisational details, booking travel etc.)
- Maintaining communication channels with EUNIC clusters active
- Contribute to development of training material and the European fellowship programme
- Proofread press and informational material
- Support in office management and general office administration
- Assist the project team with management of project finances and book keeping
Cultural Policy Research traineeship
Main responsibilities of the Cultural Policy Trainee:
- Assist the Project Manager and Project Board in setting up research terms
- Assist the Project Manager in implementing the research activity, updating the timeline and ensuring input is properly collected
- Assist in all aspects of external and internal communication
- Contribute to production of promotional material
- Contribute to the development of the European fellowship programme
- Proofread press and informational material
- Assist in minutes taking
The traineeships are remunerated under Belgian law by a ‘Convention d’immersion professionnelle’. It is mandatory for the trainee to hold an advanced studies/ a university degree (e.g. Bachelor’s, Master’s degree or equivalent). The trainee must have the right to legally work in the EU.
Traineeship and application timeframe:
The traineeships will be for a period of 6 months, starting 1 December 2014.
The deadline for application is 12 November 2014, at midnight (12 am UTC+1).
Interviews will take place between 17 and 21 November 2014.
The successful candidate will be announced on 21 November.
