BirdLife International is organising a Pan-African Business and Biodiversity Forum on 9th-10th October 2015 in Ghana (www.panbbf.org). The Forum aims to promote increased sustainability within Africa’s development agenda through mainstreaming of natural capital, and improved business-civil society cooperation. It will feature constructive dialogue in four thematic areas: extractive industries, energy-nature nexus, natural capital accounting and sustainable agriculture. Forum brochure linked here
The Forum is organised by BirdLife International in partnership with the Government of Ghana, World Bank Group, African Development Bank, Pan-African Chamber of Commerce and Industry, World Business Council for Sustainable Development, African Centre for Technology Studies, Alliance for Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Olam, United Nations (CBD, UNECA, UNEP, UNEP-WCMC), The Biodiversity Consultancy, Fauna and Flora International and Endanger Wildlife Trust.
About the opportunity:
BirdLife International is looking a volunteer to support: compilation and management of delegates and sponsors database, coordination of Thematic Session planning processes, communications and other Forum logistics.
