Financial Assistant for SME Verification (FG III)
The job
The Financial Assistant for SME Verification will work in the Directorate of Resources of the Agency within the Finance Unit as part of the SME Verification Team.
She/he will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Analysing the companies’ ownership structure and annual accounts;
- Establishing the companies’ status as per the Commission Recommendation (2003/361/EC);
- Establishing contacts with registrants and handling the communication via formal letters and informal emails, as well as managing the required translations;
- Supporting and advising the registrants during the SME verification procedure on the interpretation of the Commission Recommendation, REACH and Fee Regulations;
- Liaising with the operational units on issues related to invoicing, legal questions, budget and accounting;
- Following up the deadlines given to industry for the submission of supporting documents and other replies;
- Drafting decisions, letters and emails to the registrants;
- Assisting in the Agency’s accounting team and budget team as required;
- Filing and document management.
