Directly responsible for all finance and accounting matters, the Finance Officer will ensure that project resources are allocated, documented and monitored in accordance with project budgets. S/he will also supervise Menapolis’ treasury, accounting, tax, legal, human resources and general administration obligations.
Desired Qualifications:
- An accounting, economics or business administration related BA degree, and preferably a corresponding Master’s degree.
- 3+ years of corporate or NGO finance experience, ideally with financial strategy, risk management, profit and loss and balance sheet analysis, bookkeeping and accounting, budget management, flow of funds management and reporting experience.
- Extensive experience in managing accounting and working with IFRS accounting standards.
- Demonstrated abilities in budget preparation and management, and general ledger management.
- Experience managing international grants highly desired.
- Proficient in MS Office suite, and especially with excel (pivot tables and Excel VBA).
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Prior Finance Officer experience preferred.
- Proficient in English and Turkish (reading and speaking).
