Full-time junior knowledge sharing experts, ADE Brussels

ADE is a private consulting company that delivers objective and independent services to assist private and public decision-makers in the formulation of rational economic decisions and in monitoring their implementation.
ADE is looking for full-time junior knowledge sharing experts for a project aiming at improving the quality and results of EU external assistance by providing EC staff with:

i) methodological support regarding the programming, design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of operations;

ii) knowledge sharing support in the sectors of concentration (such as education) and on all aspects of development operations in terms of content and processes.

The junior knowledge sharing experts will be in charge of assisting the various DEVCO units in the management of methodological assignments, in the management and implementation of trainings, and in the development of knowledge sharing activities (support to communities of practice on Capacity4dev, support to exchanges of good practices…).

Requirements :

Master’s degree in economics, law, international relations, development or equivalent;
At least three (3) years of relevant and successful experience (post initial tertiary education/university) in the management, development or support to knowledge sharing tools, methodologies and trainings in the field of development cooperation;
Fluent in English and French. Knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese would be an asset.
Further experience in development cooperation in the field, with the European Commission or EU institutions and/or on the latest knowledge sharing and training tools would be an asset.
At least 1 year of experience in one of the areas mentioned below,
One of the Areas of expertise between Budget Support, Public Finance Management, and Public Policy Analysis;
One of the Areas of expertise of DEVCO-Directorate C (Sustainable Development and Growth, i.e. Rural Development, Food Security, Nutrition, Climate Change, Environment, Natural Resources, Water, Energy, Infrastructures, Private Sector Dvlpt, Trade, Regional Integration);
One of the Areas of expertise of DEVCO-Directorate B (Human and Society Development, i.e. Governance, Democracy, Gender, Human Rights, Civil society, Local Authorities, Employment, Social Inclusion, Migration, Education, Health, Research, Culture, Instrument for stability, nuclear safety);
One of the Areas of expertise between Capacity Development, Evaluation and Monitoring.
