Intensive Support Assistant – Romanian, European School, Brussels IV

The European School Brussels IV is recruiting an:

INTENSIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT for the Romanian section

The position is to start on 1st September 2014 (approximately 13h45 hs/week). The exact timetable is to be discussed.

Job description:
• The intensive support assistant is employed under the status of salaried employee (AAS statute of the European Schools) to give assistance for pupils with special educational needs of the primary cycle.
• The intensive support assistant’s role is to assist pupils with special educational Needs in their every day school routine.
• The intensive support assistant will be involved in the special support given to the pupil and the follow-up of this support.
• The intensive support assistant will work in collaboration and close communication with class teacher
• The intensive support assistant informs the Management and the families regularly of the educational improvements
• The intensive support assistant participates in all school activities and meetings
• The contract of employment will be written in accordance with the Service Regulations of the Administrative and Ancillary Staff of the European Schools, available at: www.eursc.eu
