The Delegation of the European Union to Canada is regularly taking interns to work in each of the following three sections: the Political and Public Affairs Section, the Economic and Trade Affairs Section, and the Administration Section. The duration of an internship is 3-6 months and depending on the candidate’s schedule.
The Delegation is accepting applications all year-round but selection decisions are only taken twice a year, usually in March and September. The internship itself will normally begin within three months after the selection, while the personal preferences of the successful candidate will be taken into consideration.
All internships at the EU Delegation are unpaid.
Application Deadlines
Candidates applying to begin their internship sometime during autumn/winter 2013must submit the necessary information before 31 August 2013, 18:00 EDT.
Candidates applying to begin their internship sometime during winter/spring 2014must submit the necessary information before 30 January 2014, 18:00 EDT.
