Irish mother tongue teacher required

The European School of Mol, Belgium is recruiting for the school year 2014/2015
a qualified and experienced teacher for the primary and secondary cycle
to teach Irish as a mother tongue in years 2 and 4 primary and year 1 secondary
approximately 4,5 hours per week

Job description:

The Irish mother tongue teacher will be in charge of 7 – 11 year old pupils of the English-speaking section to teach Irish as a mother tongue (language 1).

Requirements:

– Preferably a native speaker of English/Irish
– Pedagogical degree to teach Irish
– Recent experience in teaching pupils between 7 and 11 years of age
– Good team worker in a dynamic, multilingual and multicultural team

Conditions:

The school is offering a contract of definite duration under local conditions of employment from September 1, 2014 until the end of the school year 2014/2015 (August 31, 2015).
