An interpreter/translator is sought for the EU Twinning Project AM/13/ENP/OT/13 entitled “Empowerment of the Tertiary Level Education of the Republic of Armenia for European Higher Education area Integration EHEA” between Armenia and Finland/Germany implemented since February 2014 in Yerevan.
Employment starting date: 1st of June 2014
Period of Employment: 24 months
Place of Employment: Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia, Yerevan.
Job Description
- provide assistance to the Resident Twinning Adviser (RTA) as interpreter/translator – in regard to the Twinning Contract AM/13/ENP/OT/13
- translate and interpret
- provide satisfactory translation of documents and interpretation for the RTA and short-term experts, in cases where separate arrangements for translation or interpretation cannot be made
- gather relevant information and documents
- help arranging contacts and meetings
- assist the RTA in identifying, contracting and monitoring documents
- assist the RTA in the preparation of the final report of the project
- other duties arising during the project
The project is looking for a person who:
- has excellent oral and written fluency in English and Armenian languages
- has good knowledge of the Armenian higher education sector
- has experience in working in international projects
- has good communication skills
- is willing to work flexibly as a member of a team
