Major Gifts Manager
The Major Gifts Manager will assist the Head of Major Giving in managing and delivering ClientEarth’s fast-growing private philanthropy, including supporting with strategy setting for the short, medium, and long-term needs of the team, delivering on the team KPIs and meeting budgetary targets. This is a key role within the wider Development team, with responsibility for implementing strategy, developing donor cultivation and stewardship plans and pursuing new opportunities to grow major giving income.
We are looking for someone with a proven experience in a development role, and particularly experience with individual giving or private philanthropy. The role will require the post-holder to be a competent team leader and a reliable, self-motivated individual who thrives in a team environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the environment and solutions-oriented, whilst being able to bring imagination and initiative to the role, and be comfortable working closely with senior staff and with colleagues from throughout Europe and beyond. Having excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong database management experience is essential

Location
This position is based in London. You may be required to travel occasionally within Europe or to the US.
Salary
Salary bracket for this role is between £42,000 and £46,000 per annum depending on experience.
