Applicants are invited for the above mentioned Internship position at the European Agency for the operational management of large‐scale IT systems in the area of freedom, security and justice (hereinafter referred to as `the eu‐LISA`).
Under the supervision of the Tutor and with the overall reporting capacity to the Head of General Coordination Unit, the Intern to the Liaison Office of eu‐LISA will be requested to assist the Liaison Office with the projects and functions assigned to that office, in particular the tasks related to:
- contributing to the eu‐LISA day‐to‐day business;
- providing aid in liaising, developing and maintaining working relations and cooperation with the Member States and associated countries, European Commission, the Council and the Parliament;
- providing research in support of the eu‐LISA policies, if requested;
- providing support in facilitating the dialogue and exchange of unclassified information with the institutions on subject matters relevant to the eu-LISA mandate and responsibilities;
- providing support in facilitating the eu‐LISA dialogue with other international organisations and NGO`s relevant to the mandate of eu‐LISA;
- providing aid in organising and facilitating events for the stakeholders of the eu‐LISA to promoting its capacities and develop partnerships;
- providing aid in organising the events and visits of the eu‐LISA staff to Belgium;
- performing other related duties as required.
The internship will be awarded a monthly maintenance grant of 1 461.46 EUR (subject to slight change).
