About the job
To support their team they are looking for a young motivated public affairs professional as an intern in Brussels to start from mid-July 2016. The internship will last for 6 months and is remunerated.

Under the guidance of the director, your tasks will include:
Monitoring the latest developments in the European Institutions (European Parliament, Commission and Council) and the Member states;
Producing research, articles, background notes and/or presentations on relevant subjects;
Assisting in the organisation of meetings and events;
On line (social media) and off line community management;
Media monitoring;
Participate in conferences and seminars in Brussels;
Assisting with business administration.
Qualifications and skills required:
Masters degree in political science, European affairs/studies, communication or related field;
Strong analytical skills;
Fast learner;
Understanding of the EU institutions and policies;
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Working knowledge of French is required;
First-class computer skills with good knowledge of Word and Excel;
Strong collaboration skills and a positive, can-do attitude;
High motivation and flexibility; willingness to go the extra-mile;
Strong organisational skills and a proven ability to keep deadlines;
Previous experience in a consultancy/in-house, EU institutions, trade associations or other relevant professional environment would be an asset.
