Paid Traineeship for Young Graduates at EU in Jakarta (2019/2020)

PAID TRAINEESHIP FOR YOUNG GRADUATES AT THE EU DELEGATION TO INDONESIA AND BRUNEI DARUSSALAM AND AT THE EU MISSION TO ASEAN

Are you a young graduate interested in international relations?
Are you curious to learn more about work in a diplomatic mission and how an EU Delegation represents EU interests and values in Indonesia and towards the ASEAN?

What is the offer?

A traineeship of maximum 6 months within the one of the Sections of the EU Delegation to Indonesia and the EU Mission to ASEAN, subject to availability of budget.

Based on their profile and motivation letters, the successful candidates will be assigned in the EU Mission to ASEAN’s core Team or in one of the following sectors of activities of the EU Delegation to Indonesia: i) Political, Press and Information ii) Public Diplomacy, iii) Trade and Economics, iv) Development Cooperation, v) Environment and Climate.

Main tasks:

• Support to monitoring, analysing and reporting on the political and economic situation in Indonesia and ASEAN, both on domestic and foreign and security developments; Conducting research and drafting briefings;
• Support to press, information and public diplomacy activities and projects;
• Attend and report on external conferences and seminars as well as internal meetings of the Delegation to Indonesia and of the Mission to ASEAN;
• In addition, each intern will be assigned a specific project assignment on a theme of mutual interest in the EU relations with Indonesia and ASEAN, to be delivered by the end of the traineeship.
