West Kowloon Cultural District Authority is awarding Performing Arts Internship Programme for the academic year 2015-2016. This is a paid internship that runs on a recurring basis, with openings every year. Interns under this programme will be able to work closely with Performing Art team’s professional staff full-time for a period of around six months and gain practical and theoretical training in programming, research and planning, venue design, operations, learning and participatory programmes, as well as arts administration. Eligibility:
You need to:
-Possess a recognised university degree or equivalent qualification preferably relevant to:
-For programming, research and planning, learning and participatory programmes and arts administration intern: Performing arts, arts or cultural studies, arts education, publishing, marketing, journalism, communications, language, public affairs or related disciplines
-For operations intern: Hospitality, tourism, performing arts or related disciplines
-For venue design intern: Theatre technical arts, such as stage management, stage technology, lighting and sound from HKAPA or other Theatre School Institutes; or graduates from architecture or project management from universities, Good computer skills (AutoCAD) are required
