Political Outreach Internship (Fixed term 6 mths / full time)
This is an exciting role for somebody looking to explore a career within politics and enhance their CV by working in the Political Team at Greenpeace UK.
You’ll gain a great insight into how campaigning works and how the political world is so important to helping us win our campaigns.
They need someone who is determined and passionate about environmental campaigning. You’ll need some experience of running projects to tight deadlines and you enjoy working with lots of different types of people. You’ll be super organised with a keen eye for detail.
You’ll need to be a great networker and be comfortable communicating and writing for a range of different audiences.
With your finger on the pulse at all times, you’ll need to react quickly to changing priorities and developments in a cool and collected way. You’re motivated and enjoy solving problems.
It is their aim to provide a valuable learning experience for their interns. The appointed intern will receive training from an experienced team along with an opportunity to receive and provide feedback both during and after the internship.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate their support for, and belief in, the aims of Greenpeace and be able to commit to the full period of the internship.
