The Delegation of the European Union the Republic of Namibia is looking for a Programme Officer reinforcing the Rural Development Section
Overall purpose & main duties:
- Under the direct supervision of the Head of Section of the Rural Development Section
- Assist in the preparation and formation of new rural development actions and in relate fields
- Follow-up/monitor of ongoing projects and provide written reports
- Assist in preparation Terms of Reference
- Assist in preparation and management of tender dossiers
- Advise projects on EU implementation procedures and administering contracts and other project documents at operational level
- Assess trends in subsectors of rural development
- Attend steering committees, visit projects for monitoring purposes
- Contribute tthe reporting obligations of the Delegation
- Provide written information on sector specific issues on demand
