Join them to produce innovative, challenging and agenda setting news stories and investigations for their global news site, Energydesk.

This role is all about delivering high quality, high impact, evidence based and powerful digital journalism on the biggest global energy, climate and environmental stories.

You will work on the energy and climate beat and beyond – covering desk stories and working with Greenpeace’s global network of journalists, researchers and campaigners to develop and deliver new story ideas.

You’ll have the time and resources to tell stories in different ways for different audiences – from data-led interactive maps to podcasts and videos.

As part of Greenpeace’s growing journalistic project you’ll work closely with their new investigations unit to develop some of your ideas into fully fledged investigations.

In fact you’lll be a key part of a project to embed journalism and investigations in Greenpeace’s global work – working with colleagues in China, India, Indonesia, the US and elsewhere and using a range of tools from drones and satellite images to their new Bloomberg terminal.

And as a trained journalist within Greenpeace you’ll also support & encourage others to research and produce credible & journalistic content taking on an editorial role within the team.

They’re looking for someone who has a nose for ideas which will set and change the agenda and has creative ideas for how to tell powerful stories online

Salary: £36,060 per annum
