In order to facilitate and to maximise the impact of the humanitarian operations financed by the European Commission in the Middle East and the Mediterranean, and in particular in Syria, the expert will be recruited as short-term expert for a period of 6 months by the European Commission’s Directorate General for Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection.
The expert will be based in Antakya, Turkey. He/she will be required to carry out regular missions to identify and assess humanitarian needs and to monitor programmes related to the Syrian Crisis.
